Docknockers Bar and Grill
Right on their menu, Docknockers says, "Yes, we are tasteless, rude, perverted and at times immature," and they aren't lying. The menu is laden with innuendos and bodily humor. The atmosphere at Docknockers is extremely casual and oriented to making sure that their adult patrons have fun. For those searching for a "Bucket of Booze" and huge baskets of fried clams and crab legs, Docknockers may be calling your name. With scenic lakefront views, a covered open-air patio, plus lots of deck seating, Docknockers is a local favorite.
At Docknockers, you can choose your own seat, including beautiful views right on the water's edge, but don't expect table service. Patrons come to the bar to order drinks and to the kitchen window to order food. At the bar, you can order a 32-ounce "Bucket of Booze," all of which include Bacardi flavored rums with a variety of mixers. They also offer a wide selection of cocktails and beers, and they are happy to add a shot of Bacardi to any beer.
The food they serve at Docknockers is relaxed lakeside bar food in it's purest form. They spend the night serving up baskets of buffalo fried shrimp, crab cakes, and lots of oysters. Huge burgers are served up along with grouper sandwiches, grouper tacos, ahi tuna steak sandwiches, and bbq salmon sandwiches. Primarily, however, Docknockers is known for their seafood buckets. They have crab legs by the pound, as well as buckets stuffed with fried shrimp, fried clam strips, and fried oysters.
On Friday and Saturday evenings there is live music on the deck. On Sundays, Docknockers offers bottomless mimosas. They often host theme nights during the summer. Be sure to ask about their "Nascrab" races, where live crabs are raced in table top competitions.
